Great For Teachers.....
....if you teach the subject!
Good for biology students and teachers alike, even better if studying under AQA since it is the official textbook.

Don't bother wasting your money on this rubbish
One customer gave a 5 star review even though he returned it immediately after he bought it, why did he give it 5 stars?????????. (look for yourself);

and 3 others gave a review before they even took the unit 4 exam.



More than half of the stuff contained in the book probably wont come up in the exam. Students complained about this after the unit 4 exam in January 2010. Students put time and effort in to revising through the book but it's mostly a waste of time because most of AQA's A2 Level Biology question are 'application' and 'How Science Works' questions.

Ive got my unit 5 exam in 4 days time and I wonder how much of the stuff in the textbook will be examined. I really dont expect much, nor does my teacger of Biology.

No problems whatsoever, book is really clear, well laid out as its split into Unit 4 and 5 so nothing is muddled. Great purchase which is going to help LOADS for my exams coming up. Definately worth buying :)

Excellent Textbook
Highly recommended: besides the fact it's the 'official' textbook for AQA, its clearly laid out with flawless science and very good diagrams for complex matters such as respiration and photosynthesis.
